The first ever Saturn Music Festival is now over, and what a weekend it has been! A total of nine bands and three solo artists took part in the event, ranging from Acoustic to Metal. The event was held for two reasons; the first to celebrate three years of Saturn Music and to raise money for the selected charity, The Samaritans. The weekend helped raise approximately £250 for the charity, and I thank everyone for their support by purchasing tickets, raffle tickets and your donations.

A massive thanks must be made to all bands who played at the weekend; without them the event would have never taken place! Every performance was fantastic and I am pleased to have had such a high standard of musicianship on show on the weekend!
A special thanks goes to Malc Shipman at The Snooty Fox, firstly for allowing me to host the event at his venue, and secondly for his excellent work on the sound and lighting. Extra thanks must go to Andy and Fiona Fletcher, who assisted me greatly running the weekend in many ways.

Thanks must also be made to Freshman Guitars and Sound Technology plc for their donations which served as main raffle prizes for the event.
