The microchip tag has a unique identity number. It is weather and impact resistant, and is easily imbedded and hidden in most musical instruments (Easy fitting suggestions are given inside the product pack) Once fitted it is virtually impossible to remove without destroying the instrument. Owners details are maintained on a secure National Register. Police and authorised Musi-traC dealers can verify the registered owner of a suspect instrument. FREE registration for 5 years - renewable for further periods of 5 years.
